Ryatt Optometry is a friendly, independent family run Practice with a commitment to providing high quality eyecare and a personal service. We aim to exceed expectations in patient care and product quality, developing the highest levels of clinical care for all the family. Our friendly team is always willing to help. 


The practice is accredited in the Leicestershire Cataract and Lens Implant Referral Service, and the Leicestershire and Rutland Assessment Scheme for Young Children.


We are registered with the local Primary Care Trust to provide domiciliary eye examinations to patients who are housebound.


MR. S. RYATT BSc (Hons) MCOptom


Mr. Ryatt qualified in optometry and visual science in 1997 with a first class degree from City University, London.


In December 2008 Mr Ryatt was awarded an MSc in clinical optometry from City University London. This was achieved after 9 modular examinations and writing a research thesis. The research was undertaken at Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham.


His specialist interest includes diabetes and its effects on the eye and treatment of dry and watery eyes.
